A Deep Dive Into The Coal Market & A Look At The American Empire
This week was a tough week to pick a couple videos to highlight as I was able to watch a lot of interesting content. Since coal has continued to be strong into the end of the year (especially metallurgical coal), I figured I would include a deep dive on the coal market, which includes some commentary on coal stocks like Peabody Energy BTU 0.00%↑ and Warrior Met Coal HCC 0.00%↑. The other video talks about some of things going on in America, as well as some of the events that have led us to the point we are at today.
In It To Win It w/ Matt Warder
Matt Warder is one of my favorite follows on Twitter for coal information, and in this video he talks about a wide range of coal topics. They get into the nitty gritty details of coal, from the different classifications of coal and the different regions of the world that are important to coal markets. They also discuss different stocks in the sector, their production mix, and the cheap valuations across the sector.
Hidden Forces w/ Rudy Havenstein
Rudy Havenstein is another one of my favorite Twitter accounts. He is anonymous, but he has started to make the rounds on investment podcasts lately. He is very critical of central banks, economists, politicians, and other establishment figures. I’m not sure how many readers have Twitter, but he is worth a follow if you do. You can expect a steady diet of market news and memes. In the podcast, they discuss the American Empire and the military actions of the last 30 years. We share views on the Iraq War, which he calls insane, and he goes over number of things that American could do differently on the world stage.
Truth is the first casualty of war.
