Another Video On Energy & The Most Ridiculous Overview Of Current Events
The videos of the week will cater to different things for readers. As you are probably aware if you consistently read my posts, I’m still shamelessly bullish on energy, specifically energy equities in different subsectors. If you want to get some insight on the big picture for energy, the first video is for you. The second video is equal parts entertainment and education, but if you are interested in a wide ranging conversation on the debt ceiling, culture, and other various topics, you will enjoy video two.
Wall Street For Main Street with Adam Rozencwajg
I have put several videos on energy, and this one doesn’t cover specific companies are parts of the energy sector, but it provides a valuable 30,000 foot view on what is going on. They cover the shale slowdown in Texas, and the continuous selling of paper oil (futures contracts), and how oil is set for a good three to five year stretch. It won’t be without volatility, but there is a reason that I own a lot of stocks that will benefit from a rising oil price environment.

Tommy’s Podcast w/ Tom Luongo, Dave Collum, and Jim Kunstler
Kosovo Kast | James Kunstler, Dave Collum, Tom Luongo (TPC #1,240)
Any time Tom Luongo pops up as a guest on a podcast, it jumps to the top of my watchlist. While some people on podcasts or videos can be dry or boring, that’s never the case with him, and when you add in Dave Collum and Jim Kunstler, it’s basically chaos from start to finish. The three of them have appeared together on Tommy’s Podcast several times, and their most recent appearance had me laughing throughout.
“Distrust but verify…. I think you’re lying, but I’m going to leave myself open to the fact that you may not be. You have the opportunity to prove to me that you are not completely full of shit.” - Tom Luongo on the state of politicians and the media
If you find current events and culture is more your speed than the energy sector, you would probably enjoy this one. The debt ceiling debate, current political events, and other topics that you won’t find on mainstream media are some of the main topics. I also want to give fair warning, but this podcast is definitely in the NSFW category and contains foul language throughout. I find it hilarious but I know that some readers might not be interested.
