I was busy traveling this weekend for a family reunion, but I wanted to put a couple videos out this week for readers. All three cover the uranium market and provide insight to different aspects of the uranium market. I don’t own uranium in my own account since I haven’t been doing much buying over the last couple months, but I will talk about my uranium strategy with the first John Doe Portfolio update later this week.
One of the things discussed at times in each video was the discount to net asset value for the Sprott Physical Uranium Trust. If the discount flips to a premium (which it will if sentiment continues to improve), then the trust can issue shares to buy pounds of Uranium, which it hasn’t done for months. It will basically be a green light for continued inflows for the Physical Trust as well as the other equities and funds focused on the sector.
Resource Talks w/ Energy Burrito
This one was my favorite because it takes a look at the Uranium and Oil sector from the view of a generalist investor. They talk about the different strategies, from buying the uranium sector ETFs to researching individual companies. They talk about the outlook for uranium, with a prediction for at least $100 per pound of uranium, as well as their outlook for oil. Oil is a more complex market, but they were both bullish on oil over the next couple years. If I had to pick one, this would be my top video for the week.

Wealthion w/ Justin Huhn
Justin Huhn runs Uranium Insider, and he has been focused on the Uranium market for years. He focuses on smaller companies, but this video was interesting on the short term things he sees. The first video is more big picture but this one takes questions from viewers and covers a wide variety of topics.
The Energy Show on Crux Investor
If you want to get a feel for the weekly headlines in the uranium sector, this show will be for you. They discuss geopolitical events in Niger and their impact on uranium, to more news on failures of offshore wind projects in the so-called renewable energy sector, to talking on Kazatomprom, Kazakhstan’s state owned uranium company. I watch this one each week to see if there are any interesting developments on the world stage regarding Uranium.
