Video & Podcast Of The Week
Another Video On Energy & A Podcast On The Financial Market Circus Surrounding Bed Bath & Beyond
Hope everyone had a good Memorial Day Weekend. I have been busy but I will be doing another stock writeup later this week. Today’s video and podcast post will be short and sweet, but both of these cover topics that I have spent a lot of time thinking about in recent weeks. The Wall Street For Main Street video is great for investors looking to understand the energy sector and South America and offshore specifically. The Super Investors podcast will be interesting for readers interested in what has gone wrong with financial markets and how it extends to the rest of the country.
Wall Street For Main Street w/ Christine Guerrero
This is the second video with Christine Guerrero that I have included, but there aren’t many resources out there with the same experience willing to put out their research for free. This video will definitely be helpful for understanding Frontera Energy, which I will be writing about this week. They also cover Petrobras, offshore vs. shale, and other topics regarding the energy sector. I basically watch every Wall Street For Main Street episode because between Jason Burack (the host) and the guests he brings on, I learn a lot from people with more expertise than me in different sectors.
Super Investors w/ Ben Hunt
This one is an interesting podcast for several reasons. They talk about some of the crazy things going on in the market and some of the absurd behavior going on in financial markets and other places. If you are interested in Bed Bath & Beyond and their bankruptcy, or other stocks that went crazy at times over the last couple years due to short squeezes, this one is for you. Jesse Felder is the host and has appeared on numerous other podcasts that I watch. He always has an interesting perspective and his discussion with Ben Hunt on how we have basically strip-mined the country for decades is worth listening to. Many podcasts or videos focus solely on the markets, stocks, or things that impact those two fields, but this one is interesting for people who are wondering what happened to the country they grew up in.
