Unplugged Thoughts & Videos Of The Week
Supply Chains And The Changing Financial System & The Fog Of War With Recent Events
In Gold We Trust w/ Luke Gromen & Craig Tindale
I’m going to jump right into it and save my thoughts on recent events for the end, but this video was the best of the last week. If you want to look at the intersection of the changing global monetary system and the supply chains, this is definitely worth your time. They talk about how China has the tools to break things if they choose to (I personally think they won’t), and how the green agenda has derailed the Western countries. The purpose of a system is what it does, and you see it applied in the different approach to exchanges, where the West has designed paper markets for price exposure and China has built exchanges for physical delivery. If you want food for thought on how the supply chain interacts with the geopolitical chessboard and current events, this one is a must listen.
Rogue News w/ Veles
If you want a couple starting points for rabbit hole research, Veles is always one of the best. He talked about the strange fires that have been happening at refineries, but also the number of mysterious deaths of several alternative energy people who are rumored to be working on anti-gravity. He also talked about several other alternative energy projects, including algae, ocean waves, and other things that aren’t even on most people’s radar. They got into the level of fraud that is coming to light, including the SPLC and their cooperation with the FBI.
He is expecting weakness in financial markets and the economy later this year, and he covered how data center construction is juicing manufacturing numbers, along with the fake job posting epidemic and AI involvement in the hiring process. The most interesting part was the discussion on AI and why people are thinking about it in the wrong way. His view is that AI and the buildout we are seeing is the horizontal layer that enables, instead of a new vertical application. I’m oversimplifying it, but the way I think of it is a new layer of data infrastructure instead of the release of the iPhone. Another interesting piece is his view that we will see a new browser before the end of the decade that could be a Chrome killer. This one isn’t just focused on financial markets, but any time you listen to Veles you get a wide array of interesting topics, and this time is no exception.
Certain Of Uncertainty: The Fog Of War
The last couple days I have been unplugged, and that has given me time to think about everything going on recently. We have another apparent assassination attempt on Trump, but it’s another event that just raises more questions than answers. I don’t have a strong opinion, but I do think the official story we will get in coming weeks is probably going to leave a lot to be desired. The other thing that isn’t getting enough attention is number of scientists that have died mysteriously in recent weeks.
This popped up on my radar a couple weeks ago, and now CNN is picking it up. I’m not sure if we will get the real story on this one, but it does show that chess pieces are being moved in different arenas. The recent SPLC indictment shows the same thing, and we also have King Charles visiting the US and Congress this week like a couple podcast guests have mentioned. So there are certain threads being unraveled right now, and that brings me to one of the only things I am certain of: Trump & Co. are injecting chaos into various different institutions and systems.
