Podcast & Video of The Week
The Best Argument I Have Heard For Bitcoin & An Update On Oil
This week I have a couple different topics, with one podcast covering the current financial system and bitcoin and the other covering the oil market. I don’t own any bitcoin currently, but I found the discussion on the podcast to be one of the best breakdowns of Bitcoin.
The Jay Martin Show w/ Jeff Booth
I have avoided crypto for several reasons, mainly the scammers and people in the Bitcoin religion (yes, for some it’s a religion, just like climate change), and the lack of fundamental value. However, it is interesting to watch, and I don’t want to be closed minded on topics outside of my sweet spot. I enjoy listening to The Jay Martin Show, and his main focuses are gold, resources, mining stocks, current events, and macroeconomics.
I enjoy all of these topics, and his recent conversation with Jeff Booth was one of the best arguments I have heard for Bitcoin. I don’t know if I will be buying anytime soon, but if I do, I will write about it. If I can find a platform where I can set up a recurring buy for $5 or $10 bucks a week and then forget about it, I might consider it. It won’t be a large portion of my investments, but I’m open to the idea of dollar cost averaging into Bitcoin, which in my opinion is the only crypto that I can even understand a little bit and consider putting a dollar into.
Wall Street For Main Street w/ Elliot Gue
Wall Street For Main Street frequently covers energy markets and what is going on around the world. In this video, they discuss the Permian Basin, the offshore market and ExxonMobil’s and Hess’ Guyana offshore project that is set to be very lucrative for both companies, and Saudi Arabia’s and OPEC’s influence on global oil markets. If you want a video covering oil and some of the stocks guest Elliot Gue is watching, this video is for you.
