Debate Day, Another Odd Lot Trade & News Updates On Several Portfolio Holdings
It’s been a busy week for a couple of my holdings, and I wanted to keep everyone updated on the most recent news. We have several news items from the offshore sector, a dividend increase, news from a couple of my more speculative holdings, and another odd lot trade. On a separate note, we have the Presidential Debate tonight. I’m looking forward to watching it for a variety of reasons.
Biden won the toss and elected to defer, picking the right side podium, giving Trump the final closing statement. Jokes aside, I think Americans should take the time to watch the debate. I expect it will be entertaining (with the potential to be a complete train wreck), and I think it might set the tone for the political circus that could be coming over the next couple months. Either way, it will be interesting to see what happens as the election approaches. I have also heard rumblings that we might find out who Trump’s VP pick will be.
