The broader market seems to be a random number generator to see how much it is going to go up each day, and to be perfectly honest, I have no idea when it ends, but I do know that it doesn’t go on forever. I have been talking to a couple people over the last week about the S&P being a matter of national security, and it seems like that is worth a more detailed post. When I say that during podcasts I’m sure it sounds flippant, but I think it’s worth pulling on the different threads to talk about how the stock market has become the economy. I’ll save that for later, but I wanted to hit on several updates from different holdings with a wave of recent earnings.
