There are a lot of things I’m thankful for, but I figured I would share a couple instead of talking about finance and investments. I hope everyone is looking forward to time off and spending time with family and friends.
I’m thankful for my family and friends. It’s not something I talk about often, but I’m lucky to have the family and friends that I do.
I’m thankful that I was born and live in America. Despite all of the negative things going on that are easy to focus on in today’s day and age, America remains one of the best positioned countries moving forward. I think things might get bumpy over the next couple years, but I’m very optimistic on the country’s long term future.
I’m thankful for the upcoming ski season, and I’m looking forward to hitting the slopes as winter rolls in. I’ll be going to a couple new mountains this year, and I’ll make sure to include some pictures in future posts over the next couple months.
I’m thankful that my Washington Huskies are undefeated (knock on wood), and are going to smack Washington State in the Apple Cup. I don’t spend much time watching TV these days, but I’m looking forward to the game on Saturday.
Last but certainly not least, I’m thankful for all of you, my readers. It hasn’t been easy starting from scratch this spring, but I’m pleased with how things have gone so far. I enjoy writing about finance and investments, and I appreciate all of the readers that recognize the value I provide. I’m closing in 200 readers now, and I would be extra thankful if you feel like sharing it with others that might be interested.
Take some time this week to remember how lucky we are. Feel free to leave a comment with something you are thankful for.
I'm thankful for friends and family! And interesting investing 📚 when I visit your stack! Happy Thanksgiving!
